Sandi Anders was born in Fairhope, Alabama, on the shores of Mobile Bay. She lived in Germany, California, and Oregon before settling in Nashville. Along the way she studied classical music, performed in musical theater and on the Grand Ole Opry stage, and became a serious student and teacher of Iyengar yoga.
Her MDiv degree specialized in pastoral psychotherapy. She studied many different forms of psychotherapy over the years, including Gestalt, Hakomi, Agazarian group therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples. She studied Tantra with Margo Anand, Charles and Caroline Muir, and Daniel Odier; Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction with Jon Kabat-Zinn; and received Advanced Life Coach training and certification from CTI.
Sandi is an AASECT Certified Sexuality Counselor, and was honored by the American College of Sexology International as a Certified Sexologist.
Out of the office, Sandi enjoys her two rescued pit bulls, hiking, yoga, and travel.
